WEANED SEGMENT
FIRST SALE OF EACH MONTH TO FEATURE WEANED CALVES/YEARLINGS
In order to maximize the benefits of your weaning and preconditioning your calves, we will designated a portion of the first sale of each month to feature weaned calves/yearlings.
Minimum requirements:
- Weaned (separated from their mamas) a minimum of 45 days.
- Delivered to DLM prior to 5 p.m. on the Saturday preceding the 1st sale of each month. Cattle will be sold first in - first out as close as possible.
We do have a weaned certification form that you can either print off and bring with you or fill one out when you arrive. The information needed for this form are the date the calves were weaned, any vaccinations you have given them (ie, Virashield 6, Covexin 8, etc) and what dates they were given. Any vaccination program you follow will be advertised to the buyers in the catalog that is available in the lobby for all customers. No vaccinations are required although we do recommend a vaccination against respiratory disease.

Whether you have 1 calf or 100, if they meet the minimum requirements, they can be included in this featured segment of the sale - the more cattle offered, the greater the buyers' interest.
